Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using Finance OS, you agree to be bound by these terms. Finance OS is a private financial operating system and access is granted on an invitation-only basis by the system operator.

Description of service

Finance OS provides tools for organizing financial records, managing multi-entity structures, importing and reviewing transactions, storing supporting documents, tracking expected tax forms, and maintaining audit-ready reporting periods. The system is designed to support tax preparation, monthly close operations, and financial oversight.

Permitted use

Finance OS is authorized for use by:

• The system operator (Ryan DeCook) for personal and business financial management
• Authorized collaborators granted access for accounting, tax preparation, or advisory purposes

Users may not attempt to access data belonging to other entities without explicit authorization, redistribute the application, or use the system for purposes unrelated to financial operations.

Data ownership

All financial data, documents, and records entered into Finance OS remain the property of the entity or individual who owns them. The system operator retains administrative control over the platform and its infrastructure but does not claim ownership of user-contributed financial data.

Accuracy and reliability

Finance OS is a tool for organizing and reviewing financial information. It does not provide tax advice, legal counsel, or certified accounting services. All tax positions, classifications, and filing decisions should be reviewed by a qualified professional. The system may contain errors, and the operator makes no guarantees about the accuracy of automated classifications or calculations.

Service availability

Finance OS is provided on an as-is basis. The system may experience downtime for maintenance, updates, or infrastructure changes. There is no guaranteed uptime SLA. The operator will make reasonable efforts to keep the system available and to communicate planned maintenance in advance.

Limitation of liability

Finance OS and its operator are not liable for any financial losses, tax penalties, missed deadlines, or other damages arising from the use of or inability to use the system. Users are responsible for verifying all financial data and tax positions independently.

Changes to terms

These terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of Finance OS after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. Material changes will be communicated directly to authorized users.
